Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for residents in our community. You will perform daily living activities, support dignity and comfort, and help maintain a safe, friendly environment.

Responsibilities include bathing, dining assistance, mobility support, and documenting care activities. Strong communication with Wellness Leaders, families, and team members is essential; we value reliability, empathy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture our pillars and 1440.
• Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, as well as assisting others routinely with their assignments if needed.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing the following services: Bathing, showering and grooming assistance; dining assistance; wheelchair and walking escorts; toileting and light incontinence care; morning and bedtime routines; light upkeep of resident rooms; responding to calls; medication assistance and personal care.
• Completes and documents appropriate records, including pertinent information entered into log book.
• Works scheduled shift but also provides flexibility and is open to helping other shifts if needed.
• Maintains knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures; abide by all company policies; communicate concerns to the appropriate person; attend staff meetings and trainings.
