Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Caregiver to join our team in Largo, FL. The position provides routine daily care services to residents in accordance with assessment and service plans, with a focus on dignity and respect.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transfers, mobility, monitoring resident condition, reporting changes to the nurse, promoting social activities, and maintaining a safe, infection-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents and monitor safety.
• Communicate information and report changes to the nurse or supervisor.
• Encourage socialization and assist with activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and care needs.
• Observe residents’ emotional condition and report changes.
• Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines.
• Check care schedules to ensure needs are met per resident wishes.
• Participate in safety drills and perform other duties as assigned.
