HarborChase of Plano is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide daily living assistance to residents while honoring dignity and respect. You will support physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, adhere to Level of Care, and respond promptly to calls. The role includes helping with meals, mobility, laundry, and maintaining a safe, clean living environment for residents and families.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and C.N.A. certification (or be certified).

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school education.
• Non-Certification with proper training, or possession of valid state certification as C.N.A.
• 1 – 3 years experience in a senior care community or nursing home environment preferred.
• Has a good understanding of how Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease can affect behavior.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts.
• Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens.

Aufgaben

• Provides residents assistance with ADLs while respecting dignity and resident rights.
• Assists residents in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Adheres to each resident’s Level of Care and notifies supervisor of changes.
• Responds to resident calls in a timely manner.
• Checks residents every two hours and reports findings.
• Assists residents with meals and dining room activities.
• Maintains clean dining room and resident rooms as directed.
• Assists with resident laundry as directed.
• Establishes and maintains good relationships with residents and families.
• Follows safety guidelines and proper body mechanics.
