Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education.
• Non-Certification with proper training, or possession of valid state certification as CNA.
• 1–3 years experience in a senior care community or nursing home preferred.
• Has a good understanding of how Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease can affect behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents assistance with ADLs while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Assists residents in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Responds to resident calls in a timely manner and follows LOC.
• Keeps assignment sheets updated daily and reports changes to supervisor.
• Assists with meals and dining room setup as directed by supervisor.
