Job summary

Harbor Southlake Management LLC in Texas seeks a compassionate CNA to provide residents with ADL assistance while upholding dignity and resident rights. You will work under supervision to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and adhere to Level of Care requirements.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, assisting with meals, keeping rooms and dining areas tidy, and reporting changes in residents' condition.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• CNA certification or non-certified with proper training accepted.
• 1–3 years experience in senior care preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents care in accordance with policies and resident rights.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Respond to resident calls in a timely manner and monitor condition changes.
• Check residents every two hours and report findings to supervisor.
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining and meal assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and resident areas and assist with laundry as directed by supervisor.
