HarborChase, LLC. in Florida seeks a compassionate CNA to provide daily living assistance to residents, upholding dignity and respect at all times. You will support ADLs, assist with meals, monitor resident conditions, and document care every shift.

The role requires CNA certification or proper training plus 1–3 years in a senior care setting, with strong communication skills and knowledge of dementia. A safe, team‑oriented, resident‑focused environment is offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Non-Certification with proper training, or possession of valid CNA certification.
• 1–3 years in a senior care setting preferred.
• Understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and behavior.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provides residents assistance with ADLs while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Provides quality care per resident rights and facility policies.
• Assists residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Adheres to Level of Care; notifies supervisor of changes in condition.
• Responds to resident calls in a timely manner.
• Checks residents every two hours and reports findings.
• Completes assignment sheets daily.
• Escorts residents to meals and assists with meals as needed.
• Cleans and sets dining room; assists with tidy of residents’ rooms.
• Assists with resident personal laundry as directed.
• Establishes good relationships with residents and families.
• Disposes of incontinent products per OSHA and policy.
• Uses proper body mechanics; lifts safely.
• Responds to resident emergencies and follows clock-in/out procedures.
• Wears name badge and follows equipment checkout policies.
• Maintains a safe and alert work environment and advocates for resident safety.
• Discloses any medication that might impair performance.
