Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a clean driving record, a valid license (CDL with P endorsement where applicable), and a commitment to LifeWise beliefs.

The driver will ensure vehicle safety, follow traffic laws, and participate in classroom activities if agreed by the Director. A mature Christian faith and church involvement are essential.

Qualifications

• A mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver's license; CDL with passenger endorsement if required for 15+ passenger vehicles.
• Age 21–80; additional docs for drivers above 75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in 5 years.
• undergo and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain the bus's cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if agreed with the Director.
