Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time driver to transport students safely to and from the LifeWise site, requiring a mature Christian faith and a clean driving record. A regular driver’s license is required, and larger vehicles may need a CDL with a Passenger endorsement.

The role involves following traffic laws, keeping the bus clean and safe, performing inspections, and refueling as needed while creating a calm, caring environment for students.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Regular driver's license; copy may be kept on file by LifeWise program.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by the Director.
