Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time bus driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires reliability, a clean driving record, and a mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs.

Responsibilities include safe driving, maintaining bus cleanliness and safety inspections, enforcing rules, assisting students on and off the bus, and supporting LifeWise classroom activities with prior director approval.

Qualifications

• Regular driver's license; past three years continuous licensing.
• Age 21-80 with documentation for drivers over 75.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain a clean, mechanically safe bus.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and support classroom activities with Director approval.
