Job summary

Citadel at Saint Anne Place in Rockford, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide licensed nursing care to residents, following physician orders and all applicable standards. The RN will document care, administer medications, and monitor residents’ vital signs to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Receives and transcribes physician’s orders to resident charts, Kardex/Care MAR, treatment/care plans.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Counts all controlled drugs with other nurse at shift change and notes discrepancies.
• Admits, transfers and/or discharges residents to meet individual needs and maintain safety.
• Keeps resident environment clean and sanitary and reports safety risks.
