Job summary

Citadel At Saint Benedict is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents for or a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

The role requires an active IL RN license and current CPR certification, with 1 year of experience preferred, especially in long-term care. Competitive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current Illinois RN license to practice.
• 1 year of experience preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility standards.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services for the assigned unit.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Charts nurses notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges as needed; maintains safety.
