Job summary

Citadel Healthcare of Wilmette is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The RN will assume responsibility for residents during shifts, delivering nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

The role requires a nursing degree, active IL RN license, and a preference for 1 year of experience and long-term care exposure. Strong communication and infection control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Current IL RN license to practice.
• 1 year of experience preferred; long-term care experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated infection control knowledge and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Record vitals, administer treatments, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Chart nursing notes reflecting care and residents' responses.
• Participate in care planning and communicate with families and physicians.
• Uphold infection control standards and HIPAA policies.
