Job summary

Citadel At Saint Benedict is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN assumes responsibility for a group of residents each shift, providing nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Key duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, supervising CNAs, and ensuring safety and infection control standards. Candidates should hold an RN license in Illinois and CPR certification, with 1 year of nursing or long-term care

Qualifications

• Requires current CPR certification and RN license.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; LTC experience preferred.
• Ability to follow standards and report accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care per physician orders and regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments; document care.
• Record vitals, blood pressure, and MAR updates.
• Supervise CNAs and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team.
