Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. You will respond to emergencies, plan activities, and support the nursing team while maintaining resident confidentiality.

Required: HS Diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and transfer residents safely. CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Contributing member of nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods; lift 50 lbs and push 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies promptly.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activity programs.
• Report resident status and any concerns to appropriate individuals.
• Move residents to dining areas and activities safely.
• Follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
