Job summary

JOURDANTON is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care and support under the supervision of nursing staff. You will identify residents, assist with personal care, document observations, and ensure resident comfort and safety throughout your shift.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and adherence to care plans, with CPR preferred and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write clear reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information to managers and staff.
• Must possess CNA certification/licensure as required by state law.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Record entries accurately in flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Transport residents between rooms and to the receiving area as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information and report any disclosures.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials.
