Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Arnold, MO is seeking a full-time Resident Assistant to support residents with daily personal care, companionship, and daily activity engagement. You will collaborate closely with the nursing director and care team to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life in a safe, welcoming environment.

Key duties include assisting with grooming, nutrition, mobility, and daily routines, while monitoring health status and documenting observations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, grooming, hygiene, dressing and meals.
• Respond to signals and determine residents' needs using a proactive approach.
• Record vital signs and input as directed by the care team.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and dining room assistance as needed.
• Promote residents' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing through supportive engagement.
