Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents according to their care plans and supervisors’ directions.

You will identify residents before treatments, document entries, report changes, assist with activities of daily living, keep rooms ready, protect privacy, and support a calm, respectful care environment.

CPR certification preferred and adherence to facility policies, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per care plans and supervisor directions.
• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands or photo cards.
• Record and report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report disclosed information.
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care, ensuring comfort and safety.
