Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking Positive Support Specialists (PSS) for Intensive Community Residential Services (ICRS) programs in Minnesota. The role focuses on assisting individuals with complex medical, behavioral, and mental health needs in home and community settings.

You will support daily living activities, advocate for the individuals, complete shift documentation, and manage crises with training provided.

Qualifikationen

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
• Must physically be able to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Assist individuals to be more independent in life skills such as meal prep and personal hygiene.
• Advocate for individuals in rights, medical care, and community needs.
• Complete necessary documentation and record-keeping every shift.
• Manage crisis situations safely and effectively; training provided for Positive Behavioral Supports and restraints.
