Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking Positive Support Specialists to join our Intensive Community Residential Services (ICRS) programs, where we support individuals with complex medical, behavioral, and mental health needs in home and community settings.

You will help individuals become more independent in daily living skills, advocate for their rights and medical care, complete timely documentation, and respond to crises with trauma-informed care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience working with individuals with complex needs (3–5 preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals to be more independent in daily living skills.
• Advocate for rights, medical care, and community involvement.
• Complete shift documentation and record-keeping daily.
• Manage crisis situations safely; training provided.
• Provide trauma-informed care in daily interactions.
