Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and deliver skilled therapeutic interventions across inpatient, outpatient, pediatrics, and off-site locations. The role supports the continuum of care with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating and adjusting treatment plans, documenting progress, and supervising PTAs while maintaining productivity and compliance with departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT in the state of practice or eligible for trainee/temporary license.
• BLS Basic Life Support required within 30 days for some facilities or at hire for others.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops a treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily per plan of care and standards.
• Maintains accurate records of care and patient progress in EMR.
• Delivers care efficiently while meeting department productivity standards.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and compliance policies.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and supports professional growth.
