Mercy Health in Willard Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled therapeutic interventions across inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics and off-site locations within the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and adjusting treatment plans, delivering daily therapy, documenting progress in the EMR, supervising therapy assistants, and maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire; required within 30 days for certain sites.
• 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following the plan of care and current practice standards.
• Maintains accurate progress notes and documents care in the EMR with timely co-signatures for P.T. assistants.
• Maintains productivity while ensuring quality and safety across care delivery.
• Follows departmental policies on safety, infection control, time-off and attendance.
• Supervises the physical therapist assistants and supports their professional growth.
