Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Physical Therapist at Clermont Hospital to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled therapeutic interventions across outpatient, inpatient, and pediatric settings. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

The candidate will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, document progress in the EMR, and supervise assistants while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS certification within 30 days for some sites.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering information and develops an appropriate treatment plan with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following the plan of care and current standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records of treatment and patient progress in the EMR; co-signs for supervised assistants when applicable.
• Maintains productivity without compromising quality; delivers effective care meeting department standards.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, time-off, and timecard policies; completes required education.
• Supervises the physical therapist assistants' interventions and growth.
