Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and deliver skilled therapies across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will collaborate with a care team, document progress, and support families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or eligible for traineeship/temporary license.
• BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days for RSFH)
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of pediatric, adult, and geriatric care standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses patients; develops and revises treatment plans.
• Delivers direct physical therapy sessions daily following plan of care.
• Maintains accurate progress notes and documentation in EMR; ensures timely co-signatures when applicable.
• Maintains productivity while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Supervises PT assistants and supports their professional development.
