Job summary

Pontchartrain Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to welcome clients and provide friendly service. You will manage appointments, assist with daily patient flow, and support clients with information about our services.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer service or front-desk roles, veterinary experience, and proficiency with a multi-line phone system and Shepherd software.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role.
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience required.
• Proficiency in managing a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software, especially Shepherd, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and serve as the welcoming face of the hospital.
• Manage appointments and daily patient flow.
• Handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions.
• Process transactions and payments accurately.
