Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Route Service Representative to manage a demanding veterinary clinic route in Montpelier, IN.

The role is full-time and pays $18.50–$22.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, a 401(k) match, and tuition assistance. You will be the face of Gateway, delivering compassionate pet aftercare services with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service or route-based experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and CRM systems.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review daily routes and load required equipment for departure.
• Visit clinics, build professional relationships, and follow procedures.
• Retrieve deceased pets respectfully and safely.
• Scan pets at pickup/delivery; verify names and IDs.
• Document requests and complete all follow-through.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Unload pets at Care Center and hand off to Operations.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness.
• Support basic account-related administrative tasks.
• Identify service opportunities and refer leads to Business Development.
