Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to act as the primary face-to-face liaison with veterinary clinics and, occasionally, pet parents.

You will manage an assigned route, handle pets with dignity, and perform pickups and deliveries with precision in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and strong professional relationships, reporting to the Care Center Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service or route-based experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and CRM systems.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted clinic relationships.
• Ensure pets are handled and transported with dignity.
• Execute pickups and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Double check names, IDs, and instructions using company technology.
• Document requests and complete all follow-through.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Return to the Care Center to unload pets and hand off to Operations.
• Maintain responsibility for each pet until received and documented.
• Serve as primary contact for clinics and address questions promptly.
• Deliver high quality, compassionate service and gather feedback to improve the clinic experience.
