Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rounds hospital to assess transport needs and move equipment to optimize operations.
• Greet patients, explain move process, and ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist transfer from bed to stretcher or wheelchair with clinical staff.
• Transport patients on discharge and help them into their vehicle.
• Prioritize transport requests to reduce wait times and coordinate with departments.
• Retrieve and replenish code carts and transport equipment as needed.
• Deliver supplies and specimens to departments as required.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues to maximize availability.
