Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Rounds the hospital to assess transport inventory and moves equipment to optimize operations and maximize patient throughput.
• Greets and informs patients of move process, ensuring dignity, comfort and safety.
• Transports patients using stretcher or wheelchair and assists with transfers.
• Delivers items throughout the hospital, including lab specimens and pharmacy supplies.
• Notifies receiving department on arrival and conducts thorough hand-off.
• Prioritizes transport requests to reduce wait times and improve patient/family satisfaction.
• Responds to equipment issues to maximize availability.
• Keeps patient charts and information moving with empathy and clear communication.
