Qualifications

• Attending or graduate of high school (or equivalent).
• Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to specified destinations using required equipment and notifies departments of arrivals/departures.
• Records transportation data in departmental logs and on units.
• Performs oxygen rounds, replaces tanks, and reports damage.
• Transports specimens, medications, etc., and records delivery information.
• Wears PPE as required and replaces defective equipment with supervision guidance.
• Rolls wheelchairs and stretchers to designated locations; conducts inventory rounds.
