Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) is seeking a Centralized Scheduler to greet patients and schedule appointments by phone, ensuring accuracy in the electronic health system per PCMH standards.

The role supports pre-calls, confirmations, cancellations, and reschedules, while directing non-scheduling inquiries and protecting patient information. You will float across clinics and must have a valid insured vehicle for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Detail oriented with time management skills.

• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and schedule appointments by phone.
• Assist with pre-calls and call reports.
• Confirm, schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments in the EHR.
• Direct non-scheduling calls to the appropriate department.
• Respond to patient inquiries and follow up as needed.
• Float between NHA clinic offices and travel as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Utilize resources like Patient Lines and EHR Messaging as needed.
