Patient First is hiring for a front desk associate in Short Pump, Virginia. The role focuses on patient registration, kiosk assistance, and ensuring a smooth check-in process with friendly, patient-centered service.

Responsibilities include handling billing inquiries, collecting payments, verifying patient information, and supporting center operations. The position requires reliability, basic typing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic typing skills.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent visual, verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to the treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Respectfully handle physician and nurse requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate information about billing policies as needed.
• Register patients accurately with excellent customer service.
• Verify patient demographic, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
• Answer billing questions and provide itemized statements.
• Collect money and issue receipts for visits and services.
• Operate and maintain EMR system and office equipment.
