Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification: Basic Life Support through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Ability to follow directions, written and verbal.
• Comfortable working with a diverse population and communicate with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous one‑on‑one observation to patients who are confused or at risk of harming themselves or others.
• Assist with feeding and setting up trays per patient needs.
• Assist with movement of patients and help them transfer or walk as required.
• Maintain a safe environment and document patient behaviors and actions.
• Stay with the patient at all times and respond to changes in status promptly.
