Qualifications

• CPR Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous safety observation of assigned patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and assist with activities of daily living as directed.
• Maintain 15-minute checks with documentation.
• Monitor visitors to prevent unsafe materials from reaching patients.
• Follow nursing staff directions and assist with patient transport as needed.
• Communicate issues to licensed staff immediately.
• Maintain patient dignity and advocate for patients.
• Engage patients appropriately using conversation and sensory materials.
• Perform ancillary tasks per nursing supervisor directions.
