Qualifications

• Two years experience in hospital service access, clinical service access, physician office or billing and collections.
• Education options include high school with some postsecondary education; associates or bachelor's degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance coverage and benefits to ensure timely service.
• Obtain authorizations based on insurance plan contracts and guidelines.
• Document billing system and explain bills to visitors and patients.
• Resolve insurance claim denials and remedy expediently.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and financial data and support policy compliance.
