The role emphasizes helping patients navigate appointments, coordinating volunteers, and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism on a Monday–Friday on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service-oriented environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assist patients and families with empathy.
• Ability to coordinate volunteers and support program activities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, assist, and direct patients, families, and visitors throughout the Cancer Center.
• Help patients navigate appointments, services, and clinic locations.
• Provide real-time customer service support with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate and support volunteers and ensure engagement opportunities for patients and families.
• Assist with special activities and programs including art experiences, pet therapy visits, music events, and other patient-centered initiatives.
• Help coordinate supplies that support volunteer services and patient comfort programs.
• Partner with clinical and operational teams to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Communicate effectively with individuals who may be confused, frustrated, anxious, or in need of additional assistance.
• Identify needs proactively and resolve issues before they become barriers to care.
