Job summary

Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a friendly Concierge to serve as the welcoming face of the facility, from admission to discharge. You will coordinate admissions with the Admissions Department, prepare rooms, and deliver welcome baskets while escorting Residents to their rooms and building strong relationships with Residents and families.

The role requires prior customer service experience and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation setting, or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor with a commitment to exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new admissions with the Admissions Department and communicate equipment needs to nursing staff.
• Prepare rooms for incoming Residents by packing belongings, ensuring terminal cleaning, and making beds.
• Assemble and deliver welcome baskets for new Residents.
• Greet and escort Residents from the lobby to their rooms, creating a positive first impression.
• Build relationships with Residents and families by providing ongoing support and assistance.
• Respond to call bells within scope and notify nursing staff when additional care is needed.
• Address Resident concerns and complaints per the grievance process.
• Assist with room transitions, including short‑term rehabilitation to long‑term care.
• Complete concierge follow‑up documentation within 48 hours of admission and prior to discharge.
