Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL. The role includes assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring safety and nutritional accuracy.

Full-time and part-time schedules with weekend work; starting pay at $18.50 per hour. Ideal candidates have prior patient care, serving, or food prep experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and the culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection in a timely and accurate manner.
