Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for full-time work at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. The role involves assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring dietary needs are met with accuracy in a healthcare setting.

Full-time position with 12-hour shifts, variety in schedule, and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer skills and mathematical ability are required.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds and operate food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Prepare and assemble meals based on patient selections and deliver on time.
• Manage tray tickets and retrieve trays according to schedule.
• Follow HACCP, HIPAA and sanitation guidelines and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Support dietitians in monitoring special diets and clinical requirements.
• Document daily tasks and reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
