Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff with delegated tasks in a acute care setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient condition, and help maintain a safe and organized care environment. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will collect vitals, support meals and mobility, document changes, and participate in infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required
• CPCT or CNA preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs, intake/output, and reports findings.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, and mobility.
• Assists with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Performs basic nursing tasks under supervision and ensures effective communication within the team.
