Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and help with meals, hygiene and mobility while maintaining a safe, organized care environment.

The role requires basic knowledge of patient care, strong communication, and teamwork. CNA/CPCT preferred; BCLS within 90 days of hire is expected.

Competenze

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team.

Mansioni

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Record vital signs and other patient data and report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
• Assist with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor glucose via finger sticks, reporting results.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and use PPE correctly.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
