Qualifications

• 0–2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with RN/LPN.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record patient data, including vitals, height, weight, and intake/output.
• Support patients with meals, grooming, bathing, and linen changes.
• Assist with positioning, mobility, and use of walkers or wheelchairs.
• Collect samples and monitor blood glucose via finger sticks.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and safety compliance.
• May provide continuous observation as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
