Job summary

IU Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician (PCA) to provide attentive bedside care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with meals, hydration, bathing, and linen changes while supporting the bedside RN with vital signs and safety measures.

This role emphasizes compassion, strong communication, and adherence to safety protocols, with opportunities for development and tuition reimbursement within a award-winning hospital system.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA or completion of the IU Health PCA education program.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care such as assisting with meals, drinks, baths, and linen changes.
• Observe and report vital signs and changes to the RN or charge nurse to support rapid care actions.
