Mercy Health in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the Med Surg Oncology unit. You will assist with basic patient care, monitor vitals, and help with daily activities under RN supervision.

Ideal candidates have recent acute care or clinical experience, BLS (preferred), and completion of an approved nurse aide program or equivalent. EPIC EHR training is preferred; Mercy Health offers comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Recent experience in acute care or clinical setting.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Completion of nursing aide training or STNA/CNA or equivalent.
• EPIC EHR training is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides basic patient care including comfort, vital signs, personal care and hygiene.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes.
• Delivers high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely.
• Participates in hand-offs and reports upon arrival and departure.
• Rotates tasks after competency validation.
• Assists with safe patient transfers and supports independence.
