Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the Med Surg Unit at West Hospital in Ohio. You will assist with basic patient care, monitor vital signs, help with feeding and grooming, and collaborate with RNs to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualified candidates may have completed a nursing aide program or STNA/CNA with BLS preferred; EPIC EHR training is a plus. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to eligible teammates.

Responsabilités

• Provides basic patient care including comfort, vital signs, hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes and concerns.
• Delivers high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely.
• Participates in hand-off communications upon arrival and departure.
• Performs delegated tasks after competency validation.
• Assists with safe patient transfers and encourages independence.
