Job summary

Candidates must have Basic Life Support and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to patient needs throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires current Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Requires knowledge of care appropriate to the age and developmental level of the patients served.
• Requires up-to-date knowledge of procedures and standards related to patient care activities.
• Requires proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills.
• Requires ability to maintain concentration amid interruptions and noise.
• Requires ability to manage a high workload with limited time.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assistance to the bedside RN by obtaining vital signs and reporting abnormalities.
• Assist with meals, walking, baths, and providing clean linens and gowns.
• Support patient safety using gait belts, alarms, and close bedside presence.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
