Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Under the supervision of an RN, you will provide direct and indirect care to a diverse patient population, ensuring comfort, safety and timely care.

The role emphasizes learning and adapting to evolving patient needs across units. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care across age groups per unit guidelines.
• Assist with assessments, examinations, and procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and document findings.
• Draw blood and perform venipuncture.
• Perform EKGs and ensure equipment readiness.
• Support patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in Unit/Department PI activities.
