Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of the following programs or equivalent experience: PCT, CNA, Medical Assistant, Fundamentals of Nursing, HMH PCT Apprenticeship.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, accountability and dedication to high-quality patient care.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care based on age and criteria.
• Communicate with patients, nursing colleagues, and care team about patient status.
• Accept initiative to improve performance and opportunities.
• Assist in plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens as directed.
• Demonstrate proper aseptic technique for specimen collection.
• Take vital signs and document findings.
• Ensure equipment readiness and cleanliness, including code carts and emergency equipment.
• Provide hygiene and comfort care to patients.
