Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our care team in New Jersey. You will assist with patient care under RN supervision, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, and support the care plan across admission to discharge.

A strong emphasis on teamwork, patient safety, and compassionate service is required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of a PCT/CNA/MA program or the HMH PCT Apprenticeship.

Formación

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent, or HMH PCT Apprenticeship.
• Ability to learn quickly, work in a team, and deliver patient-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care based on age and criteria.
• Communicate with nursing staff about patient status.
• Conduct phlebotomy and collect specimens as directed.
• Perform EKGs and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with patient safety and environment-related tasks.
• Support interdisciplinary plan of care from admission to discharge.
