Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare setting experience preferred.
• English communication skills required (verbal and written).
• CNA certification (CA DPH) required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) required; if no card on hire, obtained within 30 days (LA City only).

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call within 10 minutes and assist RN as needed.
• Take and record vitals, daily weight, and intake/output.
• Assist with hygiene, meals, ambulation, and safe patient handling.
• Document all care provided and communicate changes to the RN/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe, clean unit environment.
