Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) - if no card upon hire, obtain within 30 days of hire (LA City only).

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient calls and anticipate needs to improve satisfaction.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and care provided for each patient.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean, safe unit environment.
• Document care and communicate changes to RN/Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with RN at shift start and throughout to coordinate patient care and data collection.
